Kambo origin
Kambo is the waxy secretion from the Large Green Tree Frog, called Phyllomedusa Bicolor and originates from the upper Amazon rainforest.

Kambo is a traditional Amazonian remedy that has been used by indigenous people for thousands of years. The tribes used Kambo to remove blocked, negative energy ''panema",treat illnesses & ailments and heighten their senses for hunting.

Legend has it that a village Shaman took part in a plant medicine ceremony after the locals fell ill, seeking guidance on how to heal them. The Sharman was shown by a female spirit how to find, harvest, and apply Kambo, which in tern saved the village.
In recent years Kambo has become increasingly popular in the West as our search for natural, non-pharmaceutical solutions to health and well-being increases.
Kambo effects
The frog secretion consists of a number of bioactive peptides that are responsible for initiating different functions within the body. A few minutes after the Kambo is placed on the gates, the effects will begin and the treatment can last from 20-40 mins.

Although everyone reacts differently to Kambo, some of the common things you could experience are Increased heart rate, sweating, vomiting (purging toxins from your body), facial swelling, shaking, dizziness, crying, but sometimes a sense of bliss. On occasions, you may need to visit the toilet, but this is just another way the body expels toxins!

It is important to remember that Kambo is not a poison, all of the reactions are natural functions of the body initiated by the peptides. Although these reactions may not sound very desirable, they are responsible for expelling toxins and negative energy from the body.
